An Awards for All funded project – Galashiels, Scottish Borders. 2015
A project involving 100 young people (6 – 13yrs) from Galashiels, Scottish Borders. Over the course of a weekend we presented a travelling timeline of puppetry, animation, archive films and sets reflecting 100 years history of the town centre in 3 empty shop windows on the high street. Weekly workshops were run in the local Primary schools over 8 weeks making shadow puppets films and props. Ruffled Feathers worked collaboratively with Collective Nonsense members to create and produce the final event and performance elements.
